Jerry C. Barbera has more than twenty years of experience with premiere, technology driven Consumer
Electronics companies and related industries. He has
extensive experience in introducing new technologies into
the global market place and introduced several award winning
products that have significantly enhanced the Home Entertainment
Experience. Furthermore, he has successfully engineered
multiple sales and branding campaigns resulting in greater
market share, increased revenue and increased brand awareness
for companies he was employed by.
Mr. Barbera served as the Vice President, Consumer Video
Division for JVC Company of America during its transition
from analog to digital products. He designed, planned
and successfully implemented sales and marketing tactics
to launch several new products into the marketplace, and
directed the product planning, pricing, sales, marketing,
and distribution for the entire division with annual sales
reaching $850M.
He joined TCL owned GoVideo in 2003 as Senior Vice President
of Sales and Marketing and directed all sales and marketing
activities of the business with P&L responsibility. Under
his leadership, the company successfully entered several
new categories, launched a multiple brand strategy, secured
tier-one distribution and increased annual revenue by more
than two-hundred percent.
Recently, Mr. Barbera founded ARQ Marketing Solutions to support
emergent companies with front-end sales and marketing solutions
to grow their business faster and more cost effectively than
traditional marketing companies. His ‘distinctive
partnership methodology’ allow his clients to achieve
their brand and revenue goals with speed and efficiency.
