Brian Tedesco is the founder of Castelmec, a market expansion services company providing a complete solution for technology manufacturers looking to penetrate Latin American markets. Under his leadership, Castelmec established reliable importation, marketing, sales, distribution and logistics pathway in Latin America for off-shore technology manufacturers such as Sharp Electronics, Canon, Xerox and HP.
Brian’s broad expertise in Latin American markets enabled him to re-engineer local distribution and sales methods, achieving significant cost reductions and revenue/profit improvements. This, combined with a comprehensive understanding of the Latin American marketplace and network of strategic relationships, allowed Castelmec to establish a profitable, market-leading presence for Sharp Electronics in Latin America.
Brian oversees compliance with import/export regulations, monitors international factory production orders, and reviews all monthly financial statements. For his clients, he also conducts marketing campaigns, speaking engagements, press conferences and product launches (e.g. Sharp’s line of digital office equipment).
With over 20 years experience in Latin American sales, distribution and logistics, Brian has consistently demonstrated the visionary, strategic, tactical and operational expertise to produce bottom-line results and long-term financial strength.
He has architected the acquisition, development and sale of four companies in Latin America. Through this experience he has developed extensive knowledge in customs, logistics, importer of record and Tax (IVA) requirements for operating in Latin America
