Wing Leung, Ph.D has been in the
high-tech R&D and management field for more than 20 years. Since 1999, he has been the President of
CNLink Networks, Inc., specializing in providing IT infrastructural services
for foreign enterprises in China. He is
also the CEO of CDN Limited, a Hong Kong based IT service company in providing
contents distribution acceleration services in China as well as abroad. In addition to IT infrastructural services,
Dr. Leung also participates in works in IT security and angel funding support
of an analog semiconductor consumer device design and fabrication startup
company.
Previously from 1993 to
1999, Dr. Leung served as the President of Gemstar Technology, Inc., a Gemstar
International Group company responsible for R&D in interactive electronic
program guide and other consumer electronic products.
From 1989 to 1993, Dr.
Leung was a staff member at IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose,
California. At IBM, he developed several
technologies to advance the recording density and reliability of hard disk
drives. Those technologies were
introduced and used in manufacturing many product lines.
Before joining IBM, Dr.
Leung was a professor in the Physics department of the Chinese University of
Hong Kong for 12 years. He received his
Ph.D in Applied Physics and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, both at Stanford
University. Dr. Leung has published over
90 research papers in internationally refereed professional journals and is the
author of 12 US patents. |
